... your periods start again?

i had a normal birth, and i stopped bleeding about a week ago. just dont want to get caught out or anything, even though i am using panty liners at the moment to keep fresh down there.

i know it will be different for everyone, but is there an average time?

If your breastfeeding they may take longer to return i didn't get a period until my lo was 8 months x

My first period came when LO was 12 weeks old. I didn't breast feed and I had a normal birth. xx

my 1st came when LO was 7-8 weeks! i didnt breastfeed and i also had a normal birth x

just looked at how old your little 1 is and u say youve only just finished bleedin a week ago hun,so did u bleed constantly for 5 weeks?? sorry to be nosy,that just seems like a long time,didnt think the bleedin would last that long after...ive just had my baby 8 days ago and was thinkin it would stop at about 2 weeks after..bless u its a wonder your not sore from wearin pads all that time,i know i am allready.its been a long time since i last had a baby and i really cant remember,i was under the impression tho that normal periods returned about 6 weeks after birth.looks like im wrong lol xxx

Well it depends, if you breastfeed exclusively will delay.. but if you're mixing both breast or formula or fully formula will come soon... i had mine when baby was 3 and half months
