to you c-sec ladies,

how long will it be til i can shave over my scar? it looks completely healed now but its still sore all around it so not gonna do it just yet but hate leaving the lady garden overgrown!

xxx

I'm nearly 4 weeks and still have a few stitches, I was thinking by 8 weeks I might be able to

mine still to sore to even think about it. lol

yeah mines sore to the touch, ive shaved everything else and just left the hair around the scar haha think it looked better before.

what stitches did you have then ladies? mine was the long piece of metal with beads on the end, had it taken out after 5 days in hosp- didnt ever look like stitches i couldnt believe how good it looked xxx

mine was the same with the beads but I have pulled some internal ones that have caused a hematoma which is making it sore. x

I had disolvable ones that stayed in which was good ,with funny loops outside of the stitches, both left and right ends of thread were tied in the middle !!! It was horrible when taped down as kept pulling. Apparently it's my surgeons trademark thing! and in the end I cut the ends off to free myself , they were not going to untie or fall off!!

Re the shaving, mines right on the hair line, so I only get a couple of odd random hairs above the scar, means you can see the scar, but that's ok, I would leave it a while till your bits feel great again!

May just be me, but where they shave you top half of your hairy bits, mine has never grown back the same, I like to keep it tidy, but it always looks like I have cut a step into the top half, like in a haircut!!!
