Mine too! I was begging for all the drugs they'd got but my labour was so fast they wouldn't give me anything else. They left the G&A in the room but i didn't use it.
I'll do natural again if i have another quick labour.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You girls make me laugh! Entonox annonymous needs starting up lol

My labour was back to back (as this one looks like it will be)....I remember kneeling on the bed over a birth ball, and the MW and my mom taking turns to really rub my back.

I sucked on the gas and air until I spoke like a demon. It eventually made me sick....But it had helped in making me float above my pain lol

There can't be much drugs that can rival the high of g&a. Not that I have dabbled enough to really have an opinion :rotfl:

I will defo go for g&a again. pethidine was rubbish. Did not even make me drowsy!!

I never really thought about "how" to use it but what I will say is, at first as others have said it can make you feel a bit light headed and queasy but give it another couple of goes and you'll get past that.

I did anyway.

Only use it when you have a contraction otherwise you won't feel the real benefits of it. It worked a treat for me.

I thought it was super :D As has been said as soon as you feel a contraction coming get sucking then after a few hits take mouthpiece out and breath the contraction away. It does make your mouth dry so don't forget your bendy straws! I had a student M/W feeding me my water whilst hanging over the side of birthing pool, at one point i told her off for not doing her job as she'd forgotten my water inbetween contraction
