House Pics

My house STILL looks like a DIY SOS building site, 3 years after moving in :( If I'm ever allowed to move again, I swear I'm going to buy brand new, or at least last century. Every time something gets fixed, something else needs doing. Plumbing and electrics is next on the list, but the thought of the chaos arghhhh!!!!!

Once all the big jobs are done, we have 15 rooms to redecorate :? . It was a great idea moving here at the time, but OMG what I'd give for a sensible house like normal people. I'd do before and after shots, but you'd probably have to wait 15 years for the after shots :?

your houses are so tidy my house looks like a bomb has hit it, Michelle82 i love the colour of your kitchen

The pics are quite dark not sure why! I dont use that bath seat anymore becuase its hard to wash her hair, so I just lie her in the bath in about an inch of water its much easier. Got the idea of someone on here, cant remember who?

it was urchin! thanks urchin I find it alot better bathing her like that and she enjoys it more - sorry to go off the subject.

they have 4 stores: one in Milton Keynes, one in Kingston upon thames and one in Bluewater shopping centre and one in Guildford, but you can order by phone.

They are very professional. They are quite pricey though, and never do sales!!! :( but sometimes, in their showrooms, they have discounted items. that was the case for a few of our furniture!

Oh lovely pics everyone

It's given me a wee umph in the right direction to sort out the niggling things in our house - it's not too bad but needs those finishing touches to make it look finished instead of work in progress! DH hates DIY though so I either have to get someone in (not enough spare cash at the moment ) or do it myself (not enough time with Olivia at the moment!)

Mel - love your sofas, are they leather? Where did you get them from? We went sofa hunting at the weekend but couldn't find any that we liked.

Does anyone know if it's ok to lay new carpets with the baby in the house? I think I read somewhere that you should wait 3 months before putting the baby to sleep in the room with new carpets?

Now the nice weather is here I want to get started on the garden but find it hard to keep O in the shade - does anyone have any advice on where to safely put the baby outside? Does anyone use a playpen type thing?

i am a tidy freak, Jase says i have one of those obessive complusive dissorder things, i hate anything out of place, and its its out of place and not being used for more than an hour i have to put it away/back or i get all fidgety, i cant relax lol

Lol Layla - I am the same - I will post some of mine if you like to compare tidyness! - I did take these after doing the house up for 2 years so it is slightly more tidy than usual!
