Hospital bag

yeah, im sure oh will bring juice and snacks if i need them, im not doing cloth from birth as i cant justify buying small gnappies that would only fit for a couple of weeks, the mediums start from 13lb so i will use those once baby fits in them lol. i have cotton wool but our hospital gave us loads of it last tiem and they dont care if you use wipes either so i might take wipes, so much other stuff isnt really necessary unless your kept in really. i'll probably throw in a hairbrush and a dress for leaving in but nothing more than that is really necessary, i had way too much stuff last time to take home but i was in for 3 days and oh had to bring me more babyclothes so id raather take less and have him bring in extras this time

Im putting 2 nappies in the bag then shoving the rest of the packet in the car to save room in the bag x

Yeah, we've bought teenyfits mostly this time, but the G was so little that I'm figuring I should get a fair while outta them.

I must be a bad wife! I've left hubby to pack his own bag. Last time he didn't bother cos he was lazy and regretted it. This time he's been packed a couple of weeks. Might have a nosey and see what he's got in there!! Bet it's just a PSP and games!

I lifted a t-shirt for hubby last time and it never left the bag - dunno what he would actually need unless its a really long labour - which seems unlikely!

Hospitals down this way don't have hair dryers but it may be different in other areas, not sure about straighteners x

Snacks and drinks! I wouldn't let him leave me except to go to the loo last time! he hadn't brought himself anything to eat or drink and he didn't like what I'd packed for myself. He did get a macdonalds on the way home at 4am though! And bless the midwives, they made him toast at midnight when I'd finally had the baby.

hubby didnt need anything last time, i was in labour til 3am and in hospital 1pm onwards and i was in for 3 days, he wasnt even gonna be allowed to stay if i wasnt in active labour (little did they know i was probably 7/8cm when they sent him home grr) so i really see no point in stuff for him
