high pulse?

I know cosmic just had a thread about palpitations but i've been feeling ill since sat night (high temp, like i'm fighting off a cold), yesterday & today i keep having lots & lots of small palpitations thru the day and this morning my mum took my bp (still low) but hb was 100 bpm (much higher than last week which was 76)

My mum says being ill doesnt make your heart beat faster which seems wrong to me

Argh it's freaking me out, does anyone know if it's a cause for concern or is perfectly ok?

I remember seeing a post like this maybe in tri 2 a few weeks ago where a girl had a really bad fever and high pulse. Def worth a trip to the docs if you're concerned just to be safe and so they can monitor you to make sure everything is ok xxxx
