Hi everyone, well sadly I feel that I now belong in here rather than ttc, after my 5th pregnancy loss on total, even though I'm only on cycle 9.
Last week I went for 21 day bloods and my husband did his semen analysis. Still waiting on his results, but I have been diagnosed as having low progesterone, which is what I have thought it was all along. So I'm now waiting for a referral to the fertility clinic, but in the meantime looking at other ways to boost progesterone. I already take pregnacare plus vitamin b6. Anyways, just thought I would say hi xxx

Hun, do go and read Maybe baby's thread, I have posted there as well and progesterone helped me save my 2nd pregnancy. Hope the appointment comes soon and they sort it out for you.

as i said yesterday, great to hear from you hun and sounds like you know whats going on now it can be fixd. Hope you get that referral soon i'm sure they will prescribe you the progesterone for next time so you dont have to go through this again :)

:hugs: xxx

hi dita! Hope you get stuff sorted out! I tried for a while a thing called Wild Yam. It suppose to be natural progestorone. You can read about it here. It might be worth reading about while waiting at least! I'm not sure if it works, but now you know about it at least!

Wish you all the best!

xx

Hiya Dita,

I'm glad that you have been diagnosed and have been referred. Hopefully it will make the difference for you and you'll get your sticky BFP very soon xx

Hi Dita, glad your getting somewhere now. In terms of low proestrogen Ive come across quite a bit on it as Ive been researching low estrogen which Ive discovered Ive got. A website called naturalhormones.net Ive found has quite a bit on both natural and more clinical stuff for boosting/balancing both estrogen and proestrogen. Hope your doing ok. The waiting is the frustrating part though!

good to see you back, hope things get sorted for you soon lovely xx

I think that will be easily sorted for you now Dita and great you can get pregnant quite easily. Sounds like the progesterone will do the trick. xx

Thanks everybody for your lovely words! I'm hoping that I will get prescribed the progesterone, im very encouraged after reading maybes thread! Feeling much more positive about it all now; we've decided to not ttc until we get our fertility app, going on holiday in a week then more fun couply stuff so should be nice.

Hey hun happy that you have been reffered I hope you enjoy ur hols together and then come back to TTC, I really hope it happen for u xx

Hi Hun,

Welcome back and sorry about the new M/C , what week do you usually get to?

I'm about to have another early loss too.

How did you get diagnosed with low progesterone?

What BCP have you been on previously?

I've been taking progesterone that I bought myself abroad, wild yam doesn't really help.

I've had a shitty time with the NHS, they wouldn't prescribe me anymore progesterone, it's not FDA approved for use to treat recurrent miscarriage although some specialists will prescribe it, like Mrs Mc's.

What kind of specialist are you seeing?

Have you had your progesterone checked in pregnancy, mine was only 14 yesterday even though I used the tablets.

Do you have your CD21 results?

Blood hell there's like 20 questions there!!

I'm seeing a specialist on Tuesday so I'll keep you posted how that goes.

xx

Hi maybe, so sorry that you're going through this again too, it's really a shitty thing to keep happening, its horrible cos in a way I'm almost thinking what can we realistically do to stop it?
I've been diagnosed through day 21 bloods; not sure what results etc were as dr didn't seem to know much  but have been referred to an infertility clinic, I explained that I thought I needed a rmc but again all they said was to go to this clinic! what kinda specialist are you seeing hun? Have you had all tests?
All the last 4 pregnancies have ended at 3week6days, my first one got to 6/7 weeks, just wish I knew what was different to get to that stage!
Reading your story I'm really disgusted with the nhs it seems a lottery to get prescribed progesterone?? Have you looked into private dr's? do you think it could be a sperm thing??? I'm just constantly looking for answers!
Sending you lots and lots of love maybe, I know how you feel seems to me we are identical in this :-( xxxxxxxxxxx

hi dita glad to see you back and sorry about your loss again glad you have a diagnosis now hopefully they can sort things for you xxxx

Hi Hun,

Gosh I hadn't realised, our story's were quite so similar.

I initially got referred to fertility like you and I guess I'm still with them too, they want to give me clomid in September.

Have you had a semen analysis, Hubbys came back high count, whether that rules out sperm problems I'm not sure, I'll need to ask on Tuesday.

I've had everything apart from Laperoscopy or HSG, thrombosilia bloods and lupus bloods.

Have you had an ultrasound?

How long is you cycle and your luteal phase and do you have light periods? Do you OV late too?

The doc I'm seeing privately also practices NHS so I'll do some digging and find out the situation with prescribing progesterone.

I've been thinking Clomid may help this situation for us so I'll ask about that too.

I'm having a good research so I'll keep you posted on my findings.

xx

Not had anything tbh hubbie has done sperm sample so just waiting on results for that; though I'm sure that can't be a prob as he seems to get me pregnant every other month lol!

The funny thing is, my periods are like text book cycles! 28 days, positive opk days 11,12 and by my temps I seem to ovulate day 13. No mid cycle bleeding, average bleeds, so im really stumped! How are your cycles? I've only ever been on the pill once, dianette when I was 18 for maybe 7 months, nothing since then. Have you been on the pill?

Funny you should mention lupus, I was researching the other day and came across lupus as a potential reason for early losses, I mentioned it to my mum and apparently my auntie has lupus and has had over 10 miscarriages, so it's something I'm going to mention.

I just hate the fact that it all seems to be bloody guesswork! I feel like stepping away from google sometimes as the stuff I read sends me crazy lol! You'll have to let me know what happens at your app, I doubt mine will be for a while yet!

Hey dita, I gave maybe a really good book if you are a reader? Maybe keep you away from google for a while lol, I could ask maybe to post it on when she is done for you, I found it really helpful, Its real life stories but also has the research and explanations behind it. I know maybe has started it but took me a wee while to get through it :)

If that's ok with you maybe baby?

Xxxx

Hi Nurse! Hope you're well hun! That would be fab if you and Maybe don't mind; I love reading, can't sleep without going through a few pages of something lol x
