HG and NVP thread

Hey girls. Applecrumble uve definitely come to the right thread! All of us are at different stages on hg I think and luckily we have been through the worst.
I'm 31 weeks and still have sickness days but not like the others anymore.

Try some rennes or orange lucozade to help with nausea?
Afraid ur docs probs wouldn't give u much until ur being sick, and as for the sleeping that's another thing that's part of this horrible hg! And I agree the nausea it's awful, I think I could have dealt with being sick all the time just not the nausea on top, u get no breaks!

When I was 11 weeks after being in and out of hospital and hooked up to drips I was at the stage where I said "I cant do this anymore" and considered terminating, BUT im 31 weeks and in my countdown now!

We always here if u need to vent or advice.

Girls he's children where lovely! Had such a great time, unfortunately he's ex kicked of about the nail varnish and (children's) makeup. But that's the sort of person she is so not going to let her ruin it!

Steffy I'm pleased ur feeling bit better. Ul have to let us know when u find out what it is see if it keeps up with all the hg girl babies!
Jem so pleased that it was a good first meet! Think Ul get a lot of the ex getting involved prob best just to ignore it like u are. She just comes across jealous! A quick question when u were 23 weeks were there days when u didn't feel baby as often? She's been more quiet today but she isn't in a regular routine of movement yet anyway. Think she's sitting higher where placenta is but just wondering if I should be concerned? Xxx

Hey keeptrying, yep I'm just Guna rise above her childishness!

At 23 weeks mime handnt formed a routine either so wouldn't be concerned really, I think it's from about 26 weeks ur sposed to monitor movement.

U feeling proper kicks and stuff now? I'm starting to see limbs stick out my tummy haha!

Thanks jemfox thats reassuring she was giving me right kicks this morning so I guess it makes up for the quietness yesterday. I bet thats so weird having legs and arms coming out! cool tho! What r u up to today? xx this is my bump 23 weeks seems to have got a bit bigger since I last posted xx

Definitely wierd! U can feel when she stretches out too, it's like nothing I've ever felt before!
Ur bump looks really neat! I was bigger than that at 23 weeks bit I'm bigger in general than you so guessing we carry different!
I went to see my mum and then hubby's mum today, mother in law got baby some cute clothes which was sweet, now just chilling waiting for my homemade potato wedges to cook!

Jem u are proper big now!! Looks ready to pop!! I've had an interesting night been down hospital got a kidney infection now have u had a uti this pregnancy? Xxx

I feel it! Currently sitting on sofa with my big bump out watching the whole thing move where bubs is throwing a party In there.

Oh no, they painful ain't they? U got meds? No I've been lucky and so far managed to avoid.

That's so cool tho can't wait to feel more. Yer on antibiotics now 3 times a day. It's soooo painful every time I wee feels like everything is going to fall out! Not nice hoping the drugs kick in soon xx

Aww bless you, drink LOADS and flush it out, the antibiotics should start clearing it up by tomorrow.

I feel battered Today! This baby has been stretching out all sorts.

Have u got stretch marks yet? I've been really lucky so far and have none! (touch wood)

That's really good that you haven't got any stretch marks think u might have got away with it now. I haven't got any yet I do keep rubbing mum2b cream on it every morning and night so fingers crossed! My infection feels a lot better this morning so fingers crossed the drugs are kicking in! Hope ur good today? How's ur iron levels? When do u find out about them again? Xx

hey keeptrying look what I went a played with today! I couldn't decide on colour, purple or sand but defo sand.
ordering it tomo!!

so glad ur infections clearing up!

im okay, im knackered today after going to kiddicare, ive got my 31 week appointment on Monday so midwife will recheck my bloods then ring me I think. hoping they have gone up!

Ahhh that's so exciting!! It's such a nice pram and good choice on colour not long til u get to use it for real!! I'm ok thanks still getting back pain but it is easing so hoping antibiotics kick in. How r u feeling? Xxx

I love it..looked like a crazy pregnant lady clutching my pack of snuggle towels wheeling it round the shop lol.

aww bless you, try a hot water bottle on ur back? any pains ive had in this pregnancy ill grab the hot water bottle as we only allowed paracetamol which do jack shite.

im okay, im tired and uncomfortable today but first time in a long time today I haven't felt sick/nauseous and had energy to get out!
went to the asda baby event today aswell and stocked up on nappies.

have you been buying many bits?

Hope you start to feel better soon from your infection keeptrying, must be awful.

I'm still feeling pretty rough, not sure it's all down to HG but not doing too good. Back in work again tonight for 3 nights and really can't be bothered with it. Really want to start maternity leave early just so I don't have to work, but then I really want as long as possible off after baby is here, just got to keep plodding along I suppose. xx

Haha jem I'm sure by the end we all turn into crazy pregnant women I haven't brought a lot I think when I get to Sunday 24 weeks il feel loAds better and start buying. Its good u have started feeling better atlast only took 31 weeks haha!! Hopefully the energy means ur irons going up?

Hey kanga love ur bump very neat! Sorry u feeling shit still. I know I was ready for maternity leave about 4 months ago. Def think tri 1 and 2 for that mater we should have paid sick leave then from tri 3 mat leave kicks in lol. What u going to do about work r u going to keep up the amount of shifts? Xx
