Hi ladies....
I haven't posted on here for a while, in fact it's been about 6/7 months! Tried having a break away, but have got to a point now where advise and support from you all is going to be needed!
Here's what's been happening....
Hubby had 1st SA done in April which showed a high percentage of abnormal sperm. He was called in to see the doctor for his results, but the doctor was far from helpful and told us to keep trying!! I had bloods done which came back normal, but no other tests for me yet.
So started hubby on lots of vitamins, a better diet and he gave up drinking alcohol in hope of improving his sperm. In July, he went for 2nd SA, and we he called for he results, he was told that they were 'normal'. Being a woman, I wasn't happy with this and asked to see a copy of the results, which in fact showed 99% abnormal forms!! Count and mobility was fine.
Feeling frustrated, I went with hubby's results to my doctor, who has referred us to the fertility clinic as we have been trying for 15 months. But again, she did not seem overly concerned by hubby's results.
So have our first appointment on Thursday, which I'm nervous about, but pleased as well to get the ball rolling. Just worried and apprehensive about what he future holds for us.
It would be great to hear from others going through a similar journey. xx
