My daughter has an unusual name - Xanthe. (Zan thee) Its Greek. It means yellow or golden so we chose Rose as her middle name so her name means yellow rose which are symbols of joy/friendship/happiness etc. We cal her Zsa Zsa for short.

My oh's favourite girl name is Zelda

I like snow. It's a friends nick name, so I've been used to hearing it since I was little. doesn't sound out of place for me at all.

my mums last name was Nelly and they used to sing nelly the elephant to her lmao only kids could think of it. then again there is the song alice alice who the fuck is alice and I still called my lo that x

My favourite girls name at the moment is Penelope. I know it's not THAT unusual but it's definitely not that common at the moment!
My favourite boys name is Jasper. Again, it's in pop culture quite a lot at the moment so not unheard of but I've yet to meet anyone named Jasper.

Shame my husband hates both of those names lol

Think Merlin is more of a boys name.

Snow is good - wouldn't worry about GoT - it's only the name for *******s from the north lol - other areas have their own versions, like Forest, which I also quite like. Hubby wanted Wolf for our son but I had to veto - I like some unusual names but I think you have to be pretty confident lo will be cool enough to carry it off when they're older - I'm not sure me and hubby will produce that lol
