Hey ladies

Following a recent scan I may have PCOS :-( im having a blood test at the docs on 30th dec, my question is do you think I should take ISO?

I've read it has the same effect as clomid, but then I have read it can have a negative effect!

Don't know what to do!

According to the scan she said I was due on in 2 weeks, scan was on thurs just gone and I came on on Sunday! I started taking ISO on wed but not sure if I should stop!

Thanks xxx

Hi

In my experience, inositol and chromium are the best things for PCOS if you aren't on metformin. If you don't ovulate on your own, you could try a small dose of soy but leave alone if you do (PCOS ladies are more likely to over-respond to ovulation drugs such as clomid and soy - me being one example). Xx

Thank you ️xx I think I'll maybe wait until I've had bloods maybe before I know for sure, I only recently had a miscarrige so that could be the cause of me not ovulating xxx

I agree only take it if your cycles are not regular or you don't always ov on your own.

I took soy iso after my first mc for 4 or 5 cycles. The first I did ov as was confirmed by bloods (but was borderline so not great quality), the second and third I'm not sure about but after that nothing so I stopped.

I tried Agnus castus after a break from the soy iso, that worked better for me and really shortened and regulated my cycles (but only for about 4-5 months, then it seemed to stop working).
