Help me with my doppler!!!

ARGGGGGG FFS!!
Tried using it again, dint have any gel so i thought coco butter body lotion would do? Hmmmmm maybe not best choice but my tummy is lovely and soft and i smell yummy!!
I must be doing something wrong.
Anyone who has found thier can u talk me through how u do it. cos im

Right first of all your baby is still teensy so can wriggle away at any point and MAY be in a position where you wont be able to hear it!! What doppler you got? x

But the following should help?

1) RELAX!!!
2) I found that laying flat on my back was the best position
3) Make sure you have a full bladder, this will push it out slightly from your pelvis...
4) You need to be looking really low down, like near the pubic bone, it's lower than you think!!
5) Move in tiny, slow movements as baby is still tiny, if you go too fast then you may miss it!!

Hi i have angel sounds one. All i keep hearing is sounds like the wind. I can hear my own hb and even in my belly i can here my own, but know the babys is much faster. Ill try again at the weekend. Thank u xx

Are you hearing a sound kind of like wind rushing through the trees? If so, this is what they say the placenta sounds like thats a good sign x

Firstly CHILL OUT HONEY!!!!!!
Ok I lay on my back make sure you are busting for a pee! lol. Use lots of gel or even maybe some vaseline or ky jelly is good. I found mine really low down on my c-section scar which is just above the hairline so really much lower than you would imagine.
Today I heard babes and another hb!!!! Totally freaked me out cos I could hear mine, babes and another one which I am keeping everything crossed was an echo!!!! Got completely freaked out as you can imagine. lol

Haha, ive just been reading about it, it says u can sometimes here 2 but its an echo. Lucky 4u i cant even find 1! U sure u havent found mine lol??
I was expecting to find it by now. xx

Thats a point maybe I found yours. If I have it sounds pretty good!!! lol. Maybe yours is plonked themself towards the back of your womb which would make it harder. Mine is right up at the front and over to my left side. If you can hear a noise like the wind when then thats the placenta which is good cos thats all working. xxxxx

You are still quite early to be able to hear with the doppler though hun midwife doesn't even normally try at that stage x

cocoa butter does work, i use it with mine. i wouldnt worry hun i couldnt find mine til 14 weeks and i tried lots of times, even now baby can be shy and wriggles away when i find it

awww hon....it is frustrating....

but the advice on little tiny movements is a good one cos literally a few mm can make all the difference to hearing it and not hearing it xx

Hey charlie ive got an angelcare one and i found it last night, i put gel just above my pubic bone as close as i could and pushed it into my tummy as much as poss took me about 15/20 mins to find. I listened to my heart first so i knew what it sounded like.
Have you had your scan date through yet? Mines monday so will c if it changes my due date!xxxxx
