Help - Full Internal

I have an appointment for March 3 to have an ultra scan to check for ovarian cysts but i am also booked in for a full internal
I am due a laparoscopy in april or May to check for endometriosis.
What can i expect with the full internal next month? I had a quick internal last month when swabs were taken etc but i am now worrying about a full one.
Anyone else been through it?

Do you think the full internal with the ultrasound scan actually means an internal ultrasound? Or would it be a separate internal? Normally i would ring up and ask but i'm too scared

Hey Notty

I had a "full internal" a few months ago and it involved an internal ultrasound and also the consultant have a "feel" with one hand inside and one pressing down on my abdomen(don't know how else to describe it) where apparantly he could feel the position of my womb. Obviously there was a nurse present as well and DH was in the room but behind a curtain. Oh, and they used a very bright light shined up there!

I won't lie, it wasn't pleasant, but not much worse than having swabs done reallly.
