Heartrate at 11weeks???

hello everyone, i was just wondering if anyone knows if 158bpm is normal for 11weeks, 1day fetus, i had a scan on Monday and that was the heartrate - is that normal??? the scanner didnt say anything just i would have to come back next week for 12 week scan? so i'm bit confused, they didnt give me any pictures either am i being paronoid??? surely they would have said if anything was wrong or not normal - wouldnt they?? sorry i'm going on now

Yes that sounds absolutely fine for babies heartbeat.......my babies heartbeat was always around that early on, and now its closer to 120-130bpm.

If there was a problem the sonographer would have said something, and you can ask them questions too!

And if you believe in the heartbeat old wives tale (which was right for me) could mean you're having a little girl!!! (obviously theres a 50/50 chance!)
Apparently under 140bpm is boy, over is Girl !!! (my little boys was consistently 120-130!!)

at my hospital, if you want scan pics you have to buy a voucher in advance. So I wouldn't read too much into that - especially if you're booked in for a 12w scan too. The sonographer probably wouldn't have thought you'd want to pay for two lots of pics a week apart.

Little one was 160bpm Sounded like horse hooves at top speed

If you are having a 12 week dating scan next week then that is when they will give you pics. Some hospitals make a small charge for them.

And heartrate sounds normal
