Heartburn/ indigestion help

Hello!

So I have been having constant heartburn/ indigestion - all day and night for the last 2 days. It isn't just after meals and it's so loud that other people can hear it!

I have tried a top line antacid which is safe for pregnancy, but it provides no relief .. I get the heartburn back seconds later. I have thought about ripping out my oesophagus and stomach, but perhaps a last resort at this stage :rotfl:

Does anyone have any remedies or ideas to help this settle the f down?? x

I have been having the same issue even waking up in the middle of the night to it. I have found that drinking milk has helped so today I’ve had a bottle of milkshake on my desk at work and so far no heartburn!

For some reason I would have thought milk could make it worse, but totally makes sense! Nice and easy to have at work too. I’ll give it a go <3
 
Yeah worth a go! Mine was so bad I woke up a few nights ago and ended up being sick from but since drinking allllll the milk/milkshake it’s been a lot better! Still there but calmer xxx
 
I would suggest milk too, I’ve had bad heartburn/indigestion most of the pregnancy it went a few weeks ago only to come back.
I’ve also been eating mints they provide short relief for me
 
Yep, milk works. Google says the fat in milk makes it worse but it's not true! Also mushing up bananas can help x
 
Thanks everyone for the tips!! Thankfully the heartburn has settled down after a few days.. but will definitely try those extra things when it comes back again! x
