Heartburn=hair

Anyone have any experience of this old wives tale???

My heartburn is really bad and my mum had it bad with me and I was born with practically a bob!!! But I just thought I would see if anyone else has had this??

I had crippling heartburn with just my 1st, non of the others and she was.... Well... A little fury lol , but not ott fury. She is still a bit fluffy and she's 5 now x

the first thing and only thing everyone said when they saw me after I had been born - she has soo much hair!

i have had it really bad this time more than what i had with amy she had a bit of hair so i wounder if this one will have loads anything i drink or eat gives me heartburn/indegestion and its horrible as it keeps me awake at night

with my son i had abit of heartburn near the end and he had a little bit of tuft but not loads.
This time iv had ALOT worse heartburn so yeah if she doesnt have alot of hair I wont be impressed that I suffered for sod all! lol

My mum keeps telling me the baby will be hairy, I'm going through gaviscon like there's no tomorrow!
Neither me or OH were particularly hairy babies though, as far as we know, so where this one might have gotten it from is a mystery!

I had crippling heartburn for 2 out of 3 of my pregnancies. Those 2 were born with hair and the one who i didn't have heartburn on didn't have any so the old wives tale was right for me!

Works for me too, I have only got heart burn about once and not bad in every pregnancy!
All my 3 babies were as bald as coots at birth, and remained that way for near two years as it was blonde too so looked worse!!

I am dark - come on Devon , lets have some dark hair please.....

You might get lucky Jenni! Drake has dark hair & skin, even his eyes are dark! Its kinda weird after having 2 blonde haired blue eyed children!

My LO was born with loads of dark hair and I had really bad heartburn! Drank gaviscon like it was going out of fashion!! x x

I was born prem and was a little hairy monkey according to my mother haha >.<

I have had heartburn abit but it comes and goes in batches x so duno if this one will have a hairy mop lol he will surprise me if he has loads x

glad to see im not the only one suffering!!! I nearly threw up at 5am from heartburn after drinking some water??!!! how can you get heartburn from water?!!! lol

my husband's family have very little hair - all the men are bald as they come (hubby been bald since he was 17 bless him) and the women have very fine hair and they are all blond.

I have very dark brown hair and lots of it! so im hoping she has my hair

my heartburn always gets worse if i drink water especially at night i find drinking milk eases it the most x

Well my mum got heartburn with me and I wasn't born with any hair, I've got savage heartburn so we shall see..... I will post in my birth story whether I had a hairy baby or not lol x

My mum had awful heartburn n I came out as bald as ghandi lol
I don't get much heartburn anymore, maybe he gonna be bald like mummy lol I had loads of curly hair by age 2 lol
