Heartburn = lots of hair? *UPDATE*

I had constant heartburn with my daughter and she had the most hair I ever seen on a baby lol! Jet black too!

I was going to mention the study! lol I did look at it myself a while back to see and although women can get bad heartburn and have bald babies, its more common in women who have babies with lots of hair!

I had bad heartburn with my first pregnancy and he had very little hair.

With my last pregnancy no heatburn at all and she had tons of hair .

So the therory is not proven to me

I had awful awful heartburn during my entire pregnancy. I had never had heartburn before I was pregnant and Aimee was born with a full mop top!

I posted the exact same question when I was working my way through the tri's.

My heartburn started around week 6 it was terrible all throughout, im sure I kept gaviscon in business I was going through a bottle a week and in the end I dont think it really helped that much it would soothe for a short while then come back with a vengence.

Anyhow, I got similar replies to you which I concluded that I was probably more likely to have a baby with hair and yes Maia had a full head of hair when she was born. I would post a pic but Im on hubbys laptop and all our photos are on the PC. I was half expecting to give birth to cheekaboo!! My Mum said I was hairy when I was born and I had hair down my back, thankfully it fell out. Maia's ears were quite hairy very dark hair but thats now fallen out, must have been the lunugo or whatever its called that all babies are covered in but generally falls out towards the end.

I had terrible heartburn the whole way through my pregnancy, getting through a bottle of gaviscon in a night some nights.
And YES my lil man has a head of thick black hair.

I had really bad heatrtburn which started at about week 16 with C and she had loads of hair. Not had nearly so much this time so thinking I might get a baldie!

Evie has lots of hair but I didn't really suffer with heartburn!! I think I only got it for about a week!

I don't know how a head of hair in your groin area gives you heartburn in your chest though?! lol x

had really bad heartburn with charlie and he was born with quite alot of hair and have had quite bad heartburn this pregnancy and saw little man's hair on a scan the other day so erm... yeah

my mum says so she said she had it terrible with my lil sis who cme out with a massive mop of thick black hair!

i never got heartburn rele and my daughter had only veru fine short hair

aiden came out with loads of blonde hair..

and still has it..

true for me, i'm sure of it!! p.s - they also told us aiden was bald at 28 week 3d scan..
