And Tilly chops weighs 11lb 7oz!!!

I'm amazed. After all the dramas of the last week my greedy girl is thriving.

She has insisted I give the Gaviscon in a bottle and that it won't affect the breastfeeding which she said is quite clearly established now. She doesn't believe that we have been experiencing nipple confusion and she thinks she is fussing at the breast because she is not getting it quick enough and the reflux and that she's probably draining a breast mid feed so I am to offer the other during the feed.

My daughter was a little angel while she was here so she didn't witness the screaming but agreed she has reflux and that getting all of the Gaviscon in her is the most important thing.

She said I should see a referral appointment soon and if other meds are needed then she will get them there.

I feel inspired today after her visit and a bit of sleep so hopefully this will carry on for a bit!

Shame she wasn't available to answer the phone the other day when I had a meltdown!! Grrr

Yeah my health visitor is lovely. Really nice. She instills confidence in me which is just what I've been needing this week. I wish I had called for her to come sooner.

I am pleased someone has leant a sympathetic ear and been supportive.

Thats fab. I hope the referal doesn't take long. When tegan had intolerance/reflux issues the appointment was only 3 weeks after the referal which wasn't too bad xx

I told the doc I couldn't settle the baby and he said 'she's settled now isn't she?!? ' sheesh, yeah that's cos she's cried for the last 5 hours and is exhausted

Henry weighed 11lb 7oz last Wednesday at his 6 week check so Tilly is doing amazingly well!
