So I have an angelsounds doppler to try and reassure me LO is still there.
When midwife did it baby kept hiding away one we found it. However even when midwife did it and still now I can only hear like one heartbeat. I put the doppler in same place midwife did, Is it normal to just hear the one heartbeat?? This is as I understand you can sometimes hear your own.
xx

Hi Hun baby will have moved, your hb will match your pulse in your neck.
They even move when you find them on the Doppler. Don't stress x x

yh u will only really hear the baby, but even at this stage its still very small and will move around alot so u will keep loosing it iff its in a funny position

the baby will sound very fast, almost twice as fast as your own

put it on your chest so u can hear what ur heartbeat sounds like, then out it back on your belly and you will hear difference

Next time I get it out I'll try and compare.
But I know baby moves was just wondering if its normal to hear just the one heartbeat, right by my pelvis sort of. x

There are major arteries running down there so comparing the sounds will help xxxxxxxx

Makes me worry lol.
Ahh Think I'm a born worryer. x

baby's heartbeat will be more by your bellybutton....thats where mine is. the one you hear down near your groin is your heartbeat cos there is a main artery down there. try up round your bellybutton and you will find babies and then you will notice the difference. good luck :)

xx

Hmm, I tried by my groin again earlier, and there was a heartbeat there but kept moving and going away. It was the same place where midwife found it. Think it might be worse me having this bloody doppler. Lol,, I will try by my belly later when I go bed, don't want to annoy LO,x

my baby is still down by my groin, i can find my hb, the whooshing placenta noise and LO's hb, all sound totally different, my hb is big and chunky, LO's hb is fast and disappears often and it is interrupted by staticy kicks too.

must depend which way it is lying then eh :) xx

yeah lol and maybe the size of your pelvis and tum. i got massive hips n loads of room there for LO to roam in, no bump yet or anything.

im 5'11 tho hun, long body lol.
that or your bubs likes exploring more than mine lol

I learnt something today LO has two different sounds one is hb behind placenta as mine is anterior and it spud different when he isn't hiding behind placenta

Hmm, Midwife said that baby does move around a lot, as she kept finding it then it would hide. x

we heard boo boo the loudest and clearest ever last night.....must have been right up near the surface. i reckon it shows off for daddy cos when he does it, it is always louder and cleaerer xx
