have had peanuts comforter in my bra for two days now...

midwife told me to get a tiny soft blanket (we got one of those teddy with the attached blanket things) and to wear it in your bra for a couple of days so it smells like you. She said that in the hospital, and when sleeping the baby will be comforted by the smell of you from it.

I have done this, even though i looked like an absolute lunatic walking around with a pink zebra teddy head sticking out of my left boob and a rather bumpy third boob in the middle!!

has anyone else been told to do this and done it? found it worked?

This most definately works..

My Stanley is coming upto 4 weeks old and now he sleeps with my top that ive been wearing that day! He is a baby that loves comfort so its either that or have him permanently attached to me. He sleeps 607 hours at night already too xxx
