Just wondering if any ones baby has a comforter?

Diors is rubbing teats.

she will suckle a dummy to sleep but also needs to be holding a dummy or a bottle teat. and she will rub it with her 2 fingers and thumb.

i find it good because if she is tired i just give her them and it sends her straight off.

my lil btohrt loves watches or braclettes i imagine its from mum and dad holding him as a baby he now is 5 and has a teddy in his bed with mums gold braclette round it was snuggls up to dads watch

and mine was rubbimg or suching tags, either of a blanket or clothes. mum said i used to put my hand up her skirt just to grab the tag on the side to rub it

but Harley dont seem to have any thing, just be reading up on cuski, and one heard of them?

My little one has one of these and he doesn't go to sleep without it!

There so soft and warm feeling, he loves it, and when he wakes up in the morning I hear him talking to it!

I think there good as it gets them into teddys and toys etc.

My comfort thing was rubbing my ears!!! he defin hasn't got that yet thank god!!!

Has he got a cuski? or is it a similer one?
i no that mothercare ect do ones similer.

i think its so sweet.

the only thing i have noticed with Harley he will scratch his matress or the sofa when hes getting tired and he will scratch things till his asleep

Damien just rubs his eyes and has to likes to have his dummy to settle properly. He often rubs my face of my boobs when he is settling though  I guess the breasts are still a big comforter even if they didn't breast feed that much.

I'm trying to get Damien to like a teddy or somethng instead of me, I thought it would help with him with settling on his own at night, but I'm not sure what would be appropriate for a 10 month old? Unless I can get a lifesize doll of me to sit with him all night

Aimee has a really fluffy fleece blanket that i have to take everywhere with me. She won't sleep with out it and when shes tired she will lie on the floor with it and rub her face in it. If she hasn't got her blanket when shes getting tired she will cry and grab whatever she can, like a babywipe of soft toy and rub that on her face instead.

i just bought Ellis a little blanket yesterday..... its from boots and its only a flannel size, made from really soft furry stuff with a zebras head on the top.

he dont pay much attention to it yet but i am hoping he will relate it with naps if i keep giving it to him.

Lily has a cushki dionne

We call it her ghost lol, we put it in her crib or in the pushchair when shes in it, shes just started to grab it and chew it lol, she doesn't need it to sleep as I swaddle her(and thats comfort enough for her) but I think she might want it more once shes too big to be swaddled.

Molly has a fleecey blanket, which she still has and it still lives in her bed for night time or when shes porley.

Rubie uses a muslin square, which is really handy as I have loads so there's always oe about and she wont notice if I change it to wash or something. She wont sleep unless it's patially covering her face.

alex does that! dh did it too and both his sisters kids!

we alwasy have to turn alex's teddy round till he has the soft label at bed time and he just rubs it! dh used to put them to his face apparently!

handy when out & about as most muslins/bibs have one on!
