Has anyone had experience of someone in intensive care

I know it's completely off subject but anyone advise or experiences would be such a help. My mum is currently in intensive care and is coming off of sedation, she has a tracheotomy in at the moment. But today when I went on she has started to pull tubes out etc and acting very much like a child. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this as its extremely frightening cxx

Sorry you have to go through this. She will be unaware of what she's doing at the moment due to the drugs she's on and probably won't remember any of it in a few days.... Always worse for loved ones watching. I'm sure she'll be back to normal soon xx

People do allsorts when they come round from anaethesia and they dont remember it, hope all is ok xxx
