Has anyone got false positive test?

Hi all, guess I celebrated a little too early. Went to Doc and the test came neg. I'm confused. I did the test twice at home and both times it came as positive. Went to Doc and the test came neg. I'm confused. My periods hasn't started either. I checked and was supposed to start on 20th. Does anyone else have this?

Was it def a dark pos Hun and not an evap? U got any pics? Sorry to hear this sometimes docs tests r not as sensitive as the ones we can buy from shops!! X

They are very strong bfps hun. keeping my fingers crossed that the docs test wasn't as sensitive x x

have you got anymore tests you could do hun? those tests are very positive i would say deffo pregnant doctors tests are not as sensitive it happened to me with mu first son i had to got back 3 times before it showed on there test. i would do a digi if i were you best of luck let us know how you get on xxxxx

That is very strong but are they fr? I think they more sensitive than docs ones! Can u try a normal Preg that's not an early one at home c if it makes a diff? X

I'd say they are DEFINITELY BFPs! Congratulations! The docs tests are less sensitive that the first response - have they booked you to go back in a week? If not i'd arrange an appointment for then and i'm sure it'll show up for the doc then!!

I did have a positive test that happened to be nothing!...

Though a doctor once said that I might have had a very early ms, and didn't even notice it... Not sure though, as I got a negative test pretty soon after the positive one, so I think I would still have the hormones in my system, even if I did have an ms?..

I tried the first response early response one. After 2 pos I didn't occur to me it might come neg after 2 pos so I didn't take them with me. I have few more tests left with me but will wait till the weekend before trying again. Just to be sure. I'm just about 4 weeks at the moment(from my last period). My hubby keeps telling me to trust my instinct. Infact he is more convinced than I am. I'm just trying to keep calm and think positive.

They look like BFPs to me!!! Like the other girls have said its prob just because the Drs arent as sensitive.. my dr just took my word for it, i didnt have to do one to show him! x

I guess so... during my first pregnancy had done the home tests only... they were 3 pos and 1 neg. The doc took my word for it. Don't know what's going on this time.

honest to god Id def say they were positive and all the girls are righ
t the docs tests I think (now someone can correct me if Im wrong to give you more accurate information) ...FR are 20miu whereas the docs are about 50miu and I think even the digi's are 50miu. So if you got your bfp on FR today, by the weekend it would definately register on a digi as your levels double every 24 hours. Good luck hun xxx

Hun the def look like bfp how many dpo are you? or did you say af was due 20th maybe you ovulated a little later than you thought and dotors test not sensitive enough to pick yet. Def wait a few days more and test again. fx for you xx

That's def positive!! Maybe your too early to show up on the doctors tests?!
