Well my boyfriend ordered us a pizza with garlic mayo and i made him ask if the mayo was made out of raw eggs they were confused and said yes it is made out of eggs....!

Is the garlic mayo out of takeaway places made from raw egg because your not allow to eat it are you xxx sorry if this is a sily question lol.

I'd have thought it will b shop bought stuff and therefore the eggs r processed and completely fine to eat xx

I'm pretty sure that most shop bought or pre-prepared mayo has been pasteurised so is fine to eat. The mayo that you need to avoid is homemade and thus not pasteurised.

I've still been having garlic Mayo or normal Mayo from take aways! I find some taste funny so think crap it's home made but they haven't made me sick yet!!

i think the mayo when made with rore egg is a yellow colour so that would help when you see the colour. most mayo's are fine

Im worrying about tonight, we are going for a posh 3 course meal/party as my mum has her 20 year service do. Im really looking forward to it but i picked my menu before i was found out i was pregnant and i have picked chicken and bacon salad for my starter, im worried that its going to have some fancy salad dressing on it, should i stay away from all salad dressings or are some ok? x x

just ask a member of staff if they can check if the salad dressing has got rore egg in egg in it,i actually had never heard of avoiding salad dressing. I would say most of the time you wont have a problem and can go for a meal and enjoy it.
