Had my booking appointment ...i have a question?

Hello ladies,
had my booking in appointment today, filled in tons of forms (well midwife did) she did my blood pressure but when she came to the blood tests she couldnt find a single vein in either arms, so now i have to trapse up the to the hospital to let them have a go, is this normal or are my arms wierd?

lol its always me!!!!
also i forgot to ask when can i get conformation of pregnancy for work and the housing? the flat we are in now wont allow any children

for the housing... you have to take your green papers to there offices and they photocopy them

omg sorry to sound thick but what are my green papers?
all i have are scan forms and my huge maternity book thingy.

You use your maternity record book that you got given by the midwife. That's what I used for the housing for proof of pregnancy.

I have crap veins too. Last time I gave blood they gave up half way through because after stabbing away (*ouch*) for a while the vein they finally found wasn't really giving up much blood.
Going to the hospital should be good, the people there probably do nothing but take blood all day and they'll be able to sort it out.
