GTT Question

This might sound a stupid question but are GTT tests for everyone or just in certain pregnancies??

I see a few of you have been having them and I was curious as it hasnt been mentioned to me, and didnt have one in my first pregnancy

hey hun

this is the first time i have had one. My midwife said its something they like to cheak now but only do it if 4 a number of reasons e.g if ur BMI is higher than it should be, you had a big baby before, diabetes in family etc.

So not everyone gets one hun

i only got mine cas i had + one day in my wee then a month later had ++ in my wee so tehy suspected diabeties

I only had one because the MW suspected it as my son was 9lb 10oz

I had one because of several reasons, my high bmi , there are lots of diabetics in my family(mum,uncle,brother,nephew etc) and the fact i was measuring 39 weeks at only 32 which in the end turned out to be a lot of water as baby girl is only 1 week ahead in the size dept thank goodness
