GTT Question

Hi everyone
I've been lurking for 6 months but now have a question, I am going for my GTT test tomorrow, silly question but do I need to take a urine sample in with me? My midwife didn't tell me whether I had to or not!

i was never asked for a sample hun and i have had 3 gtt tests

I took one with me, but they asked me to do one there and then so they could label it properly, i also had to do one after the second blood test so be prepared to wee!

I had a GTT today but didnt take a wee sample or get asked for 1, maybe take 1 just incase then. x

I had GTT on monday and never got asked for a urine sample, I would imagine if they wanted you to take one they would have asked when booking it as the tell you about not eating after a certain time and bringing lucozade, if they want a urine sample I expect they will ask for one there perhaps go with a fullish bladder to be on safe side.
