so after a mw appointment today and the baby being monitored (baby was fine)

I called my OH to tell him that contractions showed up on monitor and that when I stopped and paid attention that I could feel them...tightening like period pains. Guess what his response was "oh so no different to yesterday" WTF!!!! I was like errrr no completely differentlly to yesterday so stop being a twat and just accept that it may have started, it might be this afternoon, tonight or next week but its more than likely started!!! FFS

Anyway I then get a text saying hed be home at 7.30pm no considering he leaves the house at 7am most mornings thats a long day with a 2 yr old and considering what ive just told him youd think that hed have thought "oh I might try to get home sooner this evening". BUT NOOOO. so learning my lesson from the past, I called and said actually I was hoping youd be able to make it home earlier so help me with Jude and that I can have dinner earlier and get an early night. "Ill be home as soon as possible" now that can mean 9(effing)pm!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

GOD SAKE (please excuse this but...) FOR FUCK SAKE!!!!!n just when I think hes getting better. So now i have called him to find out what time he is coming home as Ive still not heard and cant get through on his phone coz he spends all his time on his work phone. Ive heard his work conversations and he repeats himself and talks a lot of shyte so GET THE F OFF THE EFFING PHONE ARRRRGGGGHHH

My OH is a nightmare with the phone too, he leaves it in his jacket pocket when he goes out & just leaves his jacket anywhere. I have to remind him...keep your phone next to you.

What did the MW say about your contractions, did she say it was defo the start?

well he will soon regret it if he isnt there when it happens! just keep your chin up hun xx

thanks ladies. Littlemiss... no she said they were tightenings, but nothing to get too excited about, just that they could progress today or still be waiting til next week. I think she was trying to manage my expectations .....but when I spoke to my friend she said she had 5 in ten minutes when she was monitored and had her baby 24hours later. Basically, they were consistant in their timing apart and length but at times stronger than others. Now, this was a random half hour during my day that they monitored me which tells me they are going on all the time. I can feel them slightly if I stop and close my eyes, just a dull ache every few minutes and then it goes off x

How are you feeling today?

I've been getting more aches & pains & alot more DC - but even though I know these things happen in late pregnancy anyway, it doesn't stop me wondering if this is it - have to admit - all this not knowing ect is very hard!!

yeah Ive had one child and that labor was most definately obvious but its the early signs just looking out for, its like going back to line spotting when ttc isnt it.
