Got my scan on thrusday..:( bad news pg2

i'm actually abit worried to be honest.
I wasn't worried with owen maybe it was because i felt so ill but i'm getting very edgy.

I hope this feeling goes away as i want to enjoy seeing the LO

Well anyway as soon as i'm back i'll post piccie's!

My scan is at 10am so i shouldn't be in for much of a wait, i aint looking forward to the needle though!

That confused me too! I thought they just rubbed gel on your tummy and then used the scan thingy on that?

I assumed she was talking about the blood tests they do at the same time? I don't know if it's the same everywhere but here they do your blood count, group, rubella, HIV and Hep B if you want, when you go for your first ultrasound.

just one needle, and in the arm not near the sensitive bits!

Oh ok...... - i get my scan at 12 weeks and my blood tests at 16 weeks

sorry for the confusion girlies, yes because it's my dating scan at the hospital i'm at they do the first set of bloods and all other normal routine tests.

Then at my 16 week appointment it's my downs tests.

i'm petrified of needles and i've already done this once you'd think i was used to them by now.
