yeah white cells are white blood cells that are what fight infections in your body so if theyre present its a sign of some sort of infection and oedema is swelling caused by retaining fluid so puffy skin basically which is common in preg but is also a sign of pre eclampsia. thats why they check on the swelling and bp etc.
