Getting sent for bloods

So I went to the gp about my wacky cycles, hot flushes and spots.
I'm being sent for a whole load of bloods tomorrow, if anyone has any info on what any of them are or what they will tell dr, that would be great x

Progesterone
Urea and electolytes
thyroid stim hormone
Follicle stim hormone
testosterone
LH

I would say yes! when i had missing AF after my last D&C i had these bloods done, the main ones they are looking at is the progesterone, mine showed i had just OV'd and sure enough AF arrived 2 weeks later!

Think these tests cover all your hormones which is good hope they come back ok for you, let us know

Very strange how your cycles have gone weird, did you not used to be pretty regular? i hate it when Dr's blame it all on stress, thats what i got constantly!!! i had no AF for 10 weeks and one Dr told me to go on a holiday and relax

I was very very regular, every 28/29 days without fail. Then had mc in jan and never been the same since! I hope I get some answers, I get my results in one week time x

I'm so happy to see that you've been referred for some bloodwork Cosmic

I'm a bit curious about the progesterone and FSH being done in the same bloodwork when they normally do them cd 3-5 and cd 21 but maybe it'll still tell them something

I wasn't sure about the timings, I told dr I was cd18 today but he didn't seem bothered??? I just hope the results are not skewed because of my cd xx

Soooooo CD 20, still no positive OPK
Something has definately gone amiss and I'mm so fed up seeing negative opks.
Should get blood results back on Wednesday and hopefully some answers too x
