Gender scan Monday - just thrown up!!!

I'm at work all day unfortunately. I asked for Friday off but someone is already off. Just have to suck it up and hope I gradually feel better. I was up til nearly 2am, at least I got to watch castaway lol x

I slept until 1.30 then was awake the rest of the night. Was making cheese toast at 4am

Thanks girls. I've spent a lot of the morning with my back against a radiator, it really eases the kidney pains.
These tablets are pure evil, it's like having ms all over again. I've only got 3 more days of them left and at least two of those are over the weekend so I can look rough as shit at home in my jammies.
Can't wait for the weekend, work has been hard going this week. Why is work always mega busy when you feel like shite??? xx

Oh my lovely Cos.......I can't believe I've missed this thread hunny.

I'm so sorry there's no pink bundle for you this time, I certainly do understand GD, took me a few days to get round the idea I was having a girl (our first and last pregnancy), like someone had said before I always saw us with a boy. It was a huge shock. It wasn't until you mentioned it on here that I realised I wasn't just being silly, my feelings were real. But she's here now and we love her to bits!!

Feeling ok at the moment, suppose I'd forgotten about it for a few weeks. I don't have to really think about the situation again til 14th June which is my 20 week scan. I do worry that I will be back to square one emotionally after the scan. I do feel better than I have done, I'm getting there slowly.
UTI appears to have buggered off thank god but now I appear to have thrush x

I think the upset and sleepless nights have played a big hand in the uti and thrush. I feel like I have no immunity to anything, really shattered, hopefully I'll start to pick up again soon x

I do feel like I'm slowly binding with baby and it goes without saying that I would absolutely die if anything were to happen to him. I think I will gradually come to terms with the fact I won't be having a little girl in my life, it will just take some mind adjustment on my part.
I have been looking at a clinic in Cyprus and have been in contact with them about possible sperm sorting in the future, so who knows eh???? xx

Yeah I've finished those nasty antibiotics now so I feel much better.
