Hi ladies,

Summer has been prescribed gaviscon for silent reflux/reflux for those who have used it how long did it take to work?? Did it make a massive difference?? N if didn't work what is the next step??

After a few days i noticed a difference with my LB. it did help to a degree. But he was then proscribed ranitidine Xx

Hi. We only used it for a short term as then figured out baby was actually allergic to cows milk proteins but when we were using it we only really bothered with one sachet a day. It was ony afterwards that we learned it wouldn't have made a difference anyway as it needs giving with most of their feeds to get in to their system and control the stomach acid. Are you using it enough?
If you are and baby is not improving go back to the doctor as they can try renitidine instead xx

It worked straight away for us. My lo only has it at night now.
