I reluctantly weighed myself the other day, iv put a stone on, my theory is that im nearly half way, so another stone...and a bit by the end...haha it works in my head! Ill worry about it afterwards xx

I don't weigh myself because I'll never be happy with what I see, so I have no idea! Sorry x

I am same as jayjay dont weigh myself sorry cant help x

apparently the average weight gain for normal sized women is 25lb to 35lb.
im guessing normal sized means not underweight or overweight on the bmi system! xxx

I found a calculator to find out if your weight gain is within normal limits for your starting weight the other day.....will see if I can find it again and post a link. I jumped on the scales for the first time in a while at the weekend and couldn't read the display over my bump, think I'm going to stop weighing myself until after LO arrives! x

Yep me too! I ain't worried, I'm pregnant, if I cant put a few pounds on now then when can I lol xx

I have the midwife on wednesday think i will weigh myself there because last time her scales were good to me lol! x

I only know that my bmi was in the normal range at my booking appointment, but have only myself once since!! Too scared to keep weighing as I know already I'm going to be putting on weight! I think a stone and half to 2 and a half stone is normal weight gain, all depends on your starting weight really. A friend of mine put on 4 stone during her pregnancy, and that was only within the 3rd trimester as she didnt find out she was pregnant until halfway through, and had been going on diets and loosing weight before that eeekkkk!!

xx

I think it's just your luck too. I didn't put on too much when I had my DD but I found it really really difficult to loose afterwards whereas I know people who put on around 4 stone but it has just fallen off within a few months of the birth with not too much effort x

It says in my pregnancy book that by 20 weeks you should have put on about of 13lbs! xxx

they say averagely 2 stone during the whole of pregnancy, by 20 weeks i had put on a stone and up until a couple weeks ago i had put on another stone so thats 2 already, dread gettin on now x
