For those who have already had babies

I had emergency c section so couldnt move as had cathetar in, all the staff were fantastic just told me to ring my bell for anything and I did, I even rang the bell to say he needed nappy changing and they asked if they wanted me to do it or if they wanted me to have them watch so that was really good to have support.
Once cathetar was out following day I was really mobile and during the night mw came to reguarly check how he was feeding etc, I really struggled winding alex and on the last night in hospital an fantastic mw came in and took him off to try and settle him as she could see i was exhausted and tried to wind him for me, she was so lovely.
I think everyone has different tales but dont be afraid to ask for help I am the kind that will wait until oh comes in and I quickly had to get over that when I had a few leakages! I bf so cant help with feeding and Alex is not on a routine yet but we will be starting one this week or so,
