Dont.

The very time I didnt take Joe to the docs he ended up with something called Henoch Shonlin purpura.

Its not common but is even less common in girls. It stemmed from a viral infection he had (which he always seems to get). It started as a rash on his legs which wouldnt blanch so we were sent to hospital and didnt get out for 3 days in which they took bloods and we narrowly avoided a lumbar puncture. Even now I have to check his pee for protiens and blood (with a wee stick). Im glad he will sit on jessicas potty.

If I had taken him to the docs when his cold started and insisted on something/ treatment then this may have been prevented. Maybe not, but dont ever feel worried about bothering your doc.

i don't think this could have been prevented hunny if its going to happen it will the only thing is they have been able to diagnose it quicker but as far as i know there is no treatment for this so nothing would have changed anyway.

i totally agree with you though if you in ever any doubt about your childs health definitely get it checked out even for your own piece of mind.
