I phoned the midwife earlier and I have booked my appointment. I have to go to the clinic for my app.
So all is well and I know they will be taking my blood on the day.

Can you ask your midwife about underwire bras? I've heard mixed things and I meant to ask at my booking in but forgot, and Im interested inprofessional opinion!

We had our booking in appointment today although still waiting for the scan results tomorrow following bleeding over christmas, and I asked the question on behalf of you ladies.
Midwife said, underwired bras are fine as long as they are correctly fitted, not too tight and not cutting into breast tissue.

I've got my 1st midwife appointment on 21st Jan. I'm looking forward to it cos I feel like it's been so long since I found out!

hi all,
i dont actually have a midwife appointment until 27th jan, which is when i will be 11 weeks pregnant, is that actually normal? as i thought it may have been slightly earlier?!?

mine was earlier than that. I think I was about 8 weeks. Im 11 weeks now and I have my scan on friday. You're supposed to have it at 12 weeks. Did they give you a phone number?

It is a little late maybe, but I shouldnt worry, it may just be because of the weather a lot of appointments have been put back. You should have your scan pretty soon after that, mine will be when im 12 + 1.

Maybe give them a call if you're worried.

Iv got my 1st appointment the 20th and ill be 10 weeks. was meant to have it last week but got cancelled and today i found out i was never booked in for an appointment in the 1st place!! aslong as you get your scan around 12weeks it shouldnt be a problem x

true, they tried to make it initially for when i would be 13 weeks pregnat! but made them chage it, no they havent given me any number...
