First appointment on Tuesday!

Slightly nervous about what to expect. Had a booklet through to explain all the different options available etc.
Already had scan and bloods to confirm PCOS and hubby has had 2 SA done and both came back low morphology so I think we're slightly ahead as I'm sure I read you normally have those after 1st appointment.
Said on the letter I might have to have an internal on the day- what would that be for as I've already had ultrasound to check ovaries.....?

Will we get given Clomid ( if prescribed) on that day or will there be numerous appointments before anything is started? X

On our v first appointment we saw the fertility nurse who ran through our history, discussed our blood results etc and then she booked us an appointment to c the consultant. Luckily there was a cancellation so we saw him 1 month later, here we discussed our hex and the options available to us, things had changed for me between appt s so he re ordered 21 day bloods as I didn't think I was ov, a few days after bloods I rang for results they were low so the nurse asked me to go in and prescribed me clomid. I am now waiting for my hycosy scan on the 9th April and continuing with clomid. If we are not pg by 3 months after hycosy we can start IVF straight away.

Hope this helps but I think every clinic might be different?

They said it would be between 30/40mins so I reckon they will discuss all our results in detail- my doc said a common side of PCOS is the weight but I'm between 8 1/2- 9 stone so that's not an issue because I've heard of people having to lose weight first.

My doc said she thinks Ivf would be our best shot as if I was given just Clomid there's nothing to help hubby- and another doc said it's going to be difficult to conceive on our own.... Although I still pray it will happen on our own!
