today i had a MW appointment, and i mentioned to her LO has not been moving as much for the last 5 days. i have been a little concerned about this, but i kno when neeko went to hosp. about this all was ok; and i have felt some (although relatively light) so i havent been totally stressing. anyway MW said i'd have to go to hosp. for monitoring, and said (almost told me off!) i should have called earlier if i'd been concerned. she was very nice tho and said its prob nothing to worry about its just procedure. still, i was very nervous (got my boyf to drive as i was a bit shakey!) as cant help worrying

anyway, u guessed it as soon as i was hooked up to the machine, LO started kicking the sh!t outa me! i felt a bit foolish as if i was wasting their time! they didnt make me feel like that tho and it was lovely to hear LO's heartbeat. and they said she's very happy!

don't feel silly, it is only natural to worry about the little monkeys, at least you can rest easier now

Its good to put your mind at rest.

I went in at 26 weeks for monitoring as I hadn't felt anything for 3 days, I felt like a fraud sitting there taking up space, but it made me feel a hell of a lot better and they didn't seem to mind!

hun this is exactly what happen to me... she was kicking none stop.. so what for feeling foolish where being careful, better safe then sorry

happy all is well hun.... it's hard not worry

I had one of those monitors on me when I went to hospital about the spotting I had the other day, LO wasnt impressed at all cos he was kicking me harder than he ever has!

The MW told me to press the button everytime he kicked so I was pressing it almost constantly

that hapened to my sister when she was around 7 months pg. she said she hadnt felt the baby move all day and had an ache in her tum which was worrying her. she managed to get an appointment at the maternity unit at hospital. as soon as she was assessed the baby began moving loads. the midwife said it was because he strecthed and got stuck!! bless him
