I am 28+3 and I my bump is soooooo big.

I am quite tall (5'8") and a size 10 and my hips and waist are almost the same width so I am rather un-curvy when non-pregnant. As a result my baby bump just seems to grow outwards and I end up looking like Mr. Greedy.

This is my second baby so I expected to get a bump more quickly but I didn't expect to get soooooo big so early on. I look the same as when I was 36 weeks pregnant with my DD not 28 weeks.... people keep telling me how big I am and how they can't believe I've got another 3 months to go! I am feeling achey and stretched and am also wondering how I can keep growing for another 3 months without being the size of a blimp and mega uncomfortable.

My MW said I was only measuring 29 weeks according to my fundal height so they had no concerns that baby is too large etc but I just feel so obviously pregnant and waddly and a bit fed up if i'm honest.

Is anyone else feeling the strain so early on? :(

Totally the same here.

I have had people ask if I am having twins etc! So rude! Im only small at 5 foot 3... and size 8! So I have a huuuuge bump like a beach ball

I still remember the look of horror in September when the lady at our local shop said ‘oh not long, when is baby due’ and I told her mid December. I’m slightly less than 5ft 2 and my legs aren’t overly short, so I have a short torso. It means my bump can only go out!!

oh you poor ladies. Isn't it just bad enough that we have to put our bodies through this strain and then to have random people comment on the size!!! As if we didn't realise we were large! People also can't believe I am due in Feb! Neither can I to be honest haha.

If you know of any witty retorts then let me know... feel like I should have a few in my repertoire for the size commenters!

xx

I get it all the time too. I just laugh it off now.

speaking of strain and pain, I am sat at work with a hot water bottle under my arse!!!

This is my 3rd baby. Im 5'9 and a size 10 but with wide hips n skinny waist. Im quite the opposite and have a small bump. Ive had comments about how small my belly looks for nearly 38 weeks. Even the midwife said my belly looks small. Comments either about looking big or small really do get to us ladies. You just cant win. Anyway I had a scan on tuesday and babys actually measuring big on centile. What ide suggest is taking it easy, maybe your over doing it. ive had those days where i feel like im going to pop too. Maybe you wont grow much more than you already have now if your saying your big.

I got bigger a lot faster this time but now at 33 weeks I think I am pretty similar to last time now. At 28’weeks I did feel a lot bigger than my first pregnancy so hopefully it kind of evens out for you too xx
