Went to our family physician last night for a checkup. He had the reports from the hospital regarding the surgery to remove the ectopic. He read me the operative report and confirmed that they did remove my left tube but left the ovary. He also said that we should avoid getting pregnant again for 6 months as this is the standard followup time (here in Canada anyway).
Feeling very depressed today. It took us a while to get pregnant with the one we just lost....lord only knows how long it will take to get pregnant again now with only one functioning tube!!!!! This was definitely not the news I was hoping to get. Just feel like crying. I was approximately 6 weeks along.
