And it's really bad timing as I'm due tomorrow!!!! Got a sore throat, hot and sticky, coughing and feeling generally knackered and lousy!

Also just realised baby has been really quiet today and it's worrying me a little.

Should I be worried? First time iv ever panicked about movement!

Sorry ur feeling so crappy! I've heard that babies movements generally slow down before labour but that's advice my nan gave me lol. If ur worried ring the labour ward Hun xxxx

Thanks hun. Hubs keeps telling my I'm just paranoid and that she is running out of room and getting ready to come out. Just can't help worry especially with feeling so rough.

Just having a cold fizzy drink to see if that gets her moving and will phone labour ward tonight if nothing changes.

Major. She's so much quieter than normal. Can this happen before labour does anyone know?

I've been told you do suddenly get quiet days from them just before labour, so fingers crossed for you! Hope you start feeling better soon x

Sorry to hear you feeling a bit rough - go away lurgey germs!!!! I've also heard that they slow down just before labour, but I'd defo to ring them hun, if for nothing else, for your own peace of mind.

If you still haven't felt any strong movements by dinner time please phone, they always say to err on the side of caution no matter what stage you're at xx

I think I'm extra cautious after what happened with my sister. She has never given me any cause to worry though, always been a real wriggler!!! Yesterday she was going nuts. Maybe she has warn herself out!! Will phone later if she doesn't liven up soon.

Ive been told by a few people that fluey like symptoms can be a sign of labour coming your way Fingers crossed its either that or that you get better very, very soon x

its funny as the week before i went into labour i started with the sore throat etc and i was thinking at the time that this was not good if i went into labour as i felt so ill and weak, as Dinky said...flu like! i've also been told that LO's movements slow down before the onset of labour too, so fingers crossed its all good signs that somethings gonna occur soon

Hope you're feeling better hun, but like some of the other girls have said some people get flu like symptoms before labour so you never know Has the little lady been moving more today? Xxx

Hi Taffy. Ended up in the hospital last night. Movements were still quite low and I dealt dreadful. They monitored baby and she was fine but my bp was high, I had protein in my urine and couldn't stop being sick.

Have had about 2 hours sleep and I'm absolutely full of cold this morning and barking like a dog!! My bp is normal again thankfully and have stopped being sick. They have to do another urine test and hopefully I can go home this morning.

Can't believe I have been fine for weeks and yet I hit my due date and I feel mega rough!!

Happy due date to me! Ha.
