I'm thinking of trying the vari-flow ones Maddie, need to get some, we use the tommee tippee bottles so need to find some of their teats!!!!

I think **crosses fingers** little man has gone back over, we have a fisher price projector thing that plays music and has pictures of fish, he seems to like it and it settles him fairly well!!!

Hope Alfie goes down soon Maddie, can't believe the little munchkin is keeping you awake again, cheeky boy!!!! Xx

Awake for feed no 2 2hr 45min I can cope with that

I gotta phone drs at 8 as tried to make appointment last week an was told only same day appointments can be made so gotta phone at 8! It's ridiculous they'll be like is it emergency - no but you wouldn't give me an appointment for my 4wk old baby to get colic medication so yes it will become emergency if he runs out!!!!

We just had our 2nd feed..... Just over 3 hours 45 mins, so not too bad..... I feel like poo though and hoping he will go back down, especially as have to be up for hv coming!!! I have put him in basket still awake with the projector playing, lets see what happens!!!

Bless her!!! He is still wide awake, I've put him in his basket though!!!

Eeeeew he just did a massive, smelly trump, he might go back to sleep now!!!

I actually feel sick with the smell of my child, dirty boy..... He is just like his father/grandfather/uncle, men really are gross!!!

As predicted, farted and fallen asleep, probably gassed himself, lol!!!! Xxx

Sassy you can get the vari flow teats from most supermarkets. Alfie gets on with then much better. We still use the old ones too but tend to use the vari flow ones at the night. It's not cheap. Think they are 4-5 quid for two. They are fatter than the usual ones, initially it was worried I wouldn't be able to tell the difference!

In the week I do the night feeds and Paul will help me if i ask him to but unless Alfies being awkward I won't. It was ment to me my night off last night as I don't ever have one where I'm just left alone to sleep . I stayed up and cleaned up everywhere. Sorted out Alfies room as it needed a massive sort out all his clothes etc got rid of small ones and replaced with new ones that fit him and moved it all around. Then fed changed and sorted Alfie at 12.then stayed up trying to console him until 2am. Then I woke Paul up and handed him over, I stayed up with him for a bit, put a film on for him got him everything he wants and needs laid a blanket out and made sure he was comfortable then came to bed. Alfies last feed was at about 4 then I'm assuming they came to bed and he settled. Apparently he wasn't too bad at all. But now it's me sat here ready to feed him. So I've had 3 and a bit hours sleep so on my night off very gained about a whole 45 minutes more...some night off... DICKHEAD. Grrrrrr. X

It's just took me about 45 mins to settle him, and tris has managed to wake him back up by crashing around downstairs, believe it or not, getting tabacco out of the cupboard..... He says a box fell on his head.... Shame it hasn't knocked any sense into him! Idiot!!!! If he didnt have his shit piled up in the pantry, where the food is supposed to go, then it wouldn't of been able to fall on him! Not happy!!!

Maddie, sounds just like tris, I end up sorting little man out when I'm supposed to be having a night off, men really are annoying at times!!!

Hi ladies, I have been quiet again! Lilly been in hospital and unwell. We are getting there now though. Her breathing and heart rate has been too fast due to a cold virus. Poor love!

Quick question... Those of you formula feeding how much and how oven are you feeding? Lilly is four weeks tomorrow. Been trying to get her to have 129ml every four ours but doesn't work. She falls asleep in feed and stops any where between 60ml-100ml then hungry and screaming in just a couple of hours as not filling herself. I then worry I am over feeding her by giving more but due to cold and breathing don't want her getting in too much of a state getting upset. Xx

Rachel we had similar issue n she was falling asleep on the bottle the mw suggested we try size 2 teats we have and never looked back x

Hope little Lilly is ok Rachel its so scary when they are still so tiny.

Well i got 4 and half hours sleep last night in one hit 12.30 - 5am and that was my lot. Little man decided he wasn't going back down so finally decided to give up and come downstairs so daddy can get some decent sleep. Got him off to sleep again but only for half an hour as he pooed and it went all up his back covering his clothes ... No wonder the poor mite woke up crying.
