Sorry took me a while to use my brain and work out she's 6 weeks. What was the doctors advice again? Was it meant for her temperature more than anything? Keep feeding her if she'll take it and maybe offer her boiled water to keep her hydrated if she's formula fed hun. Xxx

Thanks hun! I don't know if she has a temp today cos I don't have a thermometer she seems fine tho on her chest n back. Dr gave the carpol to use "when needed". Tbh I dont think I'm gonna give her it I don't feel comfortable yet! Thanks for idea gonna give her some boiled water xxx

Hl28, CJ has had gunky eyes from birth, and they have us drops which didnt clear it, dr says it's just immature tear ducts, they said to massage the side of his nose near his eyes to help unblock them, but was also told to dilute some no more tears baby shampoo in alot of water and clean his eyes with that, it makes it easier to clear the gunk away, and really does work wonders to clean his eyes without having to rub them alot!!!
Hopefully your earache will go soon, I have a funny image of you with the pink earmuffs!!!

Thanx babybee, you really cheered me up, your fab!!! And I'm still in my pjs, may get a shower in a while and get back in them just so I feel less eeeeww from him puking on me!!!

Nicky, hope Jas settles.... I hate dummies but I've given CJ one, had to hold it in at first til he got the hang of it, but it did help settle him to sleep!!! However, it may just be a growth spurt.... I'm hoping that is what's going on with CJ too!!!

Diane, there is a sickness bug going round at moment, poor Skyler, hope she feels better soon, give her a big hug from me!!!
I'm on the edge of wondering about calpol, I wish we could give it sooner as I think CJ is in some pain, it's horrible watching them struggle, do what you think is right lovely!!!

I've managed 2 hours sleep, they boys are still not back yet, they only took enough milk for one feed, so hoping they are not long, also hoping he is now settled, can't go through another night/day like this one!!!

I managed a 3hr sleep while jer was out with Quinn x feel soooo much better for it xx he gussled down his 60mls EBMA then latched for 5mins too greedy lil man sleeping soundly now tho xx

She is still feeding constantly - it has to be a growth spurt she's so unsettled aswell! Just keeps crying! It's horrible x

DW, how are you giving the colief, on a spoon??? That's how I've been doing it but numnuts says I'm doing it wrong and should be putting it in the bottle, but with him actually having breast milk I don't know..... So confusing
I'm just in the bath, hope I don't drop my phone in lol!!!

Quinn latches on then I take him off hand express onto spoon then add 4 drops xx but quite often it squirts everywhere an gets poor Quinn in face
That way you know he's had it all x if he doesn't drink all bottle then you wouldn't know how much hes had?! Xx

Quick one for ladies struggling with dummies: Tommee Tippee Cherry! They're a life saver, 'cause of the "ball" on the end they stay in their mouths easier and I found with both of my 2 that they also prefer them. I'm guessing 'cause they're more substantial in their mouths. Ben's just 2 weeks old and keeps his cherry dummy in no problem. But he hated the Avent and orthodontic ones, couldn't keep them in and continuously gagged on them. Bless him. Xx

That's how I give it to CJ on a spoon, it says to mix in bottle with formula not ebm, plus he takes it that way quite happily!!!

My scar is killing, I have bad thrush in it, it's red raw and itches, I've put cream on it and its made it worse!!!!

Nicky, that sounds bloody painful!!!

Heppi Alfies favourite dummy is his tommee tippee cheery ones. Luckily my nan brought them as an offer chance I'd want to use them they were even packed in my hospital bags haha. He struggles with the orthodontic ones. I've tried tommee tippee ones and mam ones. Mam ones are slightly better but not as good as the cherry ones!

Well I have missed out on alot! Been out today at my sisters as she's off to Australia with her family to see my other sister. Also it's my nephews 5th birthday on Monday so I went and gave him his present I'm so tired Alfie was horrific last night. I got so stressed my head was banging and i started to feel really sick. Think we have to go to the in laws tomorrow too. I really don't want to how is everyone else?! Xx

Ahh much better! Lol although OH has left me stranded with an 18 month old sat on my head shoving her baby brotjers' dummy in my mouth and hitting me with her phone lol. I. Really do feel like "Super-Mum" at the moment... Lol
