~February & March Mummies and Babies~

we've mastered a 3rd word! "banana" lol my little greedy guts!

I'm glad his sleeping seems to be improving clairey, and tallulah glad you've found even more lovely people to talk to and share parenting tips.

I've also switched ruby from a bottle to a non spill cup for milk (formula) she won't take a bottle atm cos of her blocked up nose and it's the only way I can get fluid into her, I don't think we'll go back to a bottle tho as she's so willing to take the cup.

Eurgh just about to pick Billy up to take him to Dylan's parents evening where I will have to sit outside in the car with Spencer for half an hour! Bad enough missing the fireworks but being stuck sitting in a car in the dark with a grumpy baby is not my idea of fun!

That sounds like a rubbish way to spend the evening, Clairey!

Not baby related but I'm gutted cos I've just found out my lovely lovely manager is leaving just as I go back to work :( I'm gutted - work is going to be such a different place to go back to. The two managers above me will be new and the rest of the management team will have changed too :( Plus I find out this week (I hope) if I have to reapply for my job. If I do it'll all have to be applied for and interview done around Lily's birthday in a couple of weeks time :(

Anyway, sorry, very self indulgent but I'm feeling sad tonight....

Oh my word ladies look at this!! Ive managed to get hold of the first sleep suit jasmine wore in 12-18 months! As if my baba was ever that small!! It was newborn and too big for her lol

It's frightening, isn't it nicky? I love the wee person O is becoming but I'm sad that it's all happening so fast.
LL, hoping you won't have to reapply for your job!

I second what Hopes said, love love love Spencer's wee personality and his development but miss him being tiny

Thanks, hopes. I really miss those early days too. I love seeing jack change every day now but oh, to have those sleepy cuddles and tiny skinny legs back!

Jas is 8 months tomorrow! Really can't believe it!! Gone from this

We are having a horrendous night. Screamed and cried since 8pm Billy's only just home to take over

Did he settle eventually Clairey?

Cute photos Nicky. I bought the same first outfit that E wore as well, in 9-12months but he is a loooong way off fitting in it. I can't wait to do a comparison photo.

She has just had diahhoerrea or however you spell it everywhere! Straight up her back and down her legs. Don't think the poor sausage is feeling great at all. She's curled up on my knee watching Mickey Mouse clubhouse. How long does this teething business last? Or should i put it down to a bug? X

He went down at 2.30am. What a shock to the system having been up since 5! Talulah I'm about to pm you x

I personally would be more inclined to put it down to a bug Nicky but obviously I'm in the same boat as a first time mum with no experience of teething!

How is Jas now?

Girls, for a while now O has been napping 10-10.30, 1-2 (maybe a tad later) then a cat nap from 4.30-5 but he's been quite lively at bedtime. When I say lively, he's not hard work, he's not crying either but he'll roll around the cot, try to climb, crawl etc. If I let him stay up a while then bed time is lively but a pissed off lively because he's obv overtired. This wide awakeness is recent.
Yesterday he napped 10-10.30, 1-2.20, 4.30-5 & was pretty awake at bedtime but was wanting his bed if that makes sense? He has no desire to function past 7pm.
Today he has napped 10-10.30, he's now napping 1.20-now (it's 2.50 & he's still asleep). Should I chance it & drop the 4.30 nap & see if he is more sleepy at bed time?

Funnily enough I was going to post this afternoon about jack being on the verge of dropping his second nap! Yeah, I'd try and ditch that third nap if I were you, hopes. He's getting a decent amount of sleep in his other naps. Maybe try do reading the other two out during the day a bit more though, so he's not trying to get to bedtime from 2.30? Maybe try 10.15-10.45 and then 1.30-3 (or later)? Do you think he'd manage that?

I would, hopes.

E has droped to two naps from sinilar to O. Today E napped from 9-11 and 1.45-3 and that is him for the day, if he sleeps past 4pm he is wired all evening.

Poor Jas. I hope if it is teeth they pop quickly or if it is a bug it goes away quickly.

I just picked a design for our Christmas cards! Eeep.

Just had another full clothes change so we are now both in our pjs!
