~February & March Mummies and Babies~

We use a Moses basket with a cellular blanket folded over a couple of times. We do her last bum change and feed in the bedroom with dimmed light so she knows the difference and as soon as she's fed she's straight in the basket and tucked in tight.

She fidgets too much to be swaddled! I'm hoping she carries on like this - apart from last night where I couldn't wake her to give her her last feed! X

We use Moses basket with couple of cellular blankets tucked around her. We also do her last bottle in the bedroom with just a lamp on. I don't talk to her or interact whilst feeding her the last bottle so she knows it's night-time. During the day everything is loud and bright even when she naps so she knows the difference. I've done this since the beginning and she's been sleeping through since about 4 weeks xxx

My hv is really nice, she comes every 3 weeks still and is really encouraging and just let's me parent the way I want to, whilst letting me know government recommendations. She's also sending nursery nurses to me every couple of weeks to do "development activities" with skyler and I. I'm quite impressed with the service I'm getting tbh.

You will have to let us know what development activities you are doing. I havent had anything like that!!

Mg nipples are literally spraying milk! No wonder she keeps coughing - it's coming out so fast!

Harry sleeps in a padded crib that looks like a cross between a Moses basket and a manger lol. I don't put him 'to bed' as such. We make our way upstairs once Jack's gone to bed at 8ish then bath him every other night. After that we feed/cuddle him to sleep and then lay him in his crib. He has 2 fleece blankets folded in half on him and he stays nice and toasty. He'll be in a grobag as soon as he's big enough for Jack's newborn one. Then when he's asleep usually around 11pm we go to sleep. I couldn't put him to bed awake even if i wanted to because he'd be yelling at me within 3 mins lol x

I swaddle quinn, then tuck a blanket around him and have a blanket wrapped up next to him to make the basket smaller xx

Nicky mmy milk does this an ive got him in face/eye alot so I have started expressing to take the pressure off and hv said this is good idea to try stop it hitting back of his throat an possibly help his colic xx

I've had to put mine in her cot now as she's almost as long as the moses basket. I roll up two largeish towels and put them either side of her. Then I get her fleecey blanket and tuck it around the towels and at the bottom. She seems to like it as it gives her room to move but keeps her warm. She did like her gro-bag but was sick on it so its in the wash!x

Well touch wood we have had a very successful evening so far! Fed her 100ml at 5.30, played on her mat/chair/with daddy, got her in bath, massage, relaxed and just cuddled and spoke to her a while and now feeding in bedroom for her to hopefully go to bed. These hours we usually have major screaming fits but so far just a few whinges! Fingers crossed hey?

Hope everyone has had a good day? Babybee looks so little in her cot bless her! I'm thinking of putting skyler in hers too, when did they get so big!!!

Little E looks sooooo tiny, I'll have to take a picture of CJ in his big boy cot at my mums later, he looks lost! X

Just got home from seeing my dad and picked pail up from work. Was nice spending the afternoon with my dad, had some food in the pub I work in. My dad gets very lonely and a fair few forgot his birthday I think. Really felt for him, didn't want to leave him lol. But it was lovely to spend the afternoon with him and for him to see Alfie. Now I'm Just cooking tea. We are having roast chicken and im going to try and grab a shower in a sec. I really hope Alfie has a better night tonight. Hope you have all had a nice day ladies xxx

Sounds like everyone is having a better day today!!

I went to put in my prescription for my antibiotics today and every single pharmacy I went to could only get them delivered tomorrow :-/ seemingly they are specialised and very strong so they don't keep them in stock.

Husband is taking me out for dinner on Friday and having not had a drink for 9 months was really looking forward to a glass of wine …pharmacist has told me strictly on alcohol on these as it will make me very sick!! Oh well another two weeks without a glass of wine will do me no harm lol

I worry little man gets cold at night when though he is wrapped in a huge cellular blanket. I have growbag but not sure when i can use it as i know they have to be a certain weight / size first.

We've had a good day, Blake has done nothing but eat! He's been in bed upstairs since 8:15pm. The bedtime routine works really well for us. Blake currently sleeps in a Moses basket with 1 fleece blanket as our room stays at 21 degrees all night. As soon as he starts sleeping through he will be going in his own room in his cot. There's no room for it in our room and he's already looking big in his basket.

Sassy, I find it so cute you call it his big boy cot, can't wait to see a photo.
I find she has a less disturbed sleep in the cot as the rustling of the wicker when she fidgeted would wake her. Fuss pot.

Sounds like everyone's had a good day! Hopefully our little monsters give us all a good night too.... wishful thinking I know!

Heres Quinn asleep at the moment wish me luck im off to bed too an hubby out drumming tonight so nice few hrs sleep would be nice before hubby gets home xx
