Babybee, we have drop in clinics which we can go to to get weight checked, maybe ask hv?
Mum just rang to say asda (can't remember which but was in Leeds) has boxes of huggies on offer at £4!!! Maybe worth checking your asda's ladies!!! X

Hi ladies how r u all? Haven't been on for a while!!
DW babies tend to BF feed a lot at night. That's pretty normal. My madam can feed loads for few hours from 8ish. And often it's for comfort I think. She feeds and sleeps easily in the day but wants to feed more and stay attached at night. Just stick with it hun babies dictate how much milk you produce so if they feed loads for a day or two it's to up ur supply. Just feed on demand and baby will be getting plenty. I know night times are tough and that's why I co sleep. I tend to roll over latch her on and nod off too!! Xxxxx

thanx hun for youur reply xx thats what my mw said apparently its totally normal x hormones are higher in evening and they cluster feed x she said can give formula top up if your ok with it x he only takes 20mls formula so if thats jus once a day to get sleep then so be it 
he now weighs 5lbs 1.5 oz so hes lost 7.5oz but its within the limits so all good he's soooo tiny bless him

With my son at one point I attempted to give him a formula feed before bed but he wanted to BF straight after lol so I left it till he was older. Babies can loose a surprising amount 'norm' is up to 10%. But obviously can be more or less. I'll be interested to see what B is next time. X

he seems to settle with jus 10-20mls formula after feeding on and off for hrs with breast x last night he had 20mls at 1am and woke at 4am so a solid 3hrs which is better than previous night xx

I made it as a February mummy, baby Elias arrived on the 28th. He is in the NICU though as he has a pneumothorax, but he is doing ok. Will be back with the full story soon.

Oh and I hope all you other mummies are okay and your not being run ragged like me hah! 3am is classed a morning now as Alfie wants to get up. He's now fighting his sleep little beastie and has realised/decided that mummy's bed is so much more comfy than his basket and has also found his voice. Chats away and get annoyed when your busy doing something else, likes to have shout out to get your attention then sits there in silence looking all sweet and innocent like "it wasn't me mummy" they aint daft these babies! Xx

3.50 bf & 1oz formula
4.30 asleep
7am awake to bf
I am very happy mummy this morning this is a routine I can cope with best night sooo far xx

Congrats tallulah but really hope baby is out of nicu soon 
I had a good night last night my lo followed her usual pattern of feed at 10, then I wake her at 4, then feed at 8. However I'm thinking of not waking her at 4 and just letting her wake herself once she hits 4 weeks old on Tuesday. I've done a lot of reading that says a baby will wake herself and last night she was basically still asleep whilst I was feeding her. It's a different story during the day tho, she is so fussy and wants feeding A LOT! Lol. Oh and she projectile Vomitted yesterday :-/ only the once so I'm not too concerned unless it keeps happening.
Maddie my lo is also finding her voice, it's too cute lol!

Yeah CJ has found his too, usually when I'm trying to sleep! He chatters and moans in his sleep, I get up and he is silent, typical, I've got a sleep talker! He doesn't chatter as much in the day!
Diane, can't believe our lo's are 4 week old on Monday/Tuesday! How quick is it going!
I am absolutely shattered, I slept ok from 12:30-4:30, got up to express but then couldn't get back to sleep! Tris brought CJ up at 5am, and he hasn't been any trouble, just sleep talking but I couldn't settle!
Going for a family meal tonight, my parents are meeting the inlaws, not looking forward to it at all, however I am looking forward to Monday, tris goes back to work, and he is on nights so we are going to my mum and dads to stay for one or two nights, yaaaaaay can't wait! Means I can see my grandma's and my lovely friends, most of them haven't met CJ yet..... Plus I can be a pampered princess!!! Whoooooooo! X
