~February & March Mummies and Babies~

I knew I wouldn't be able to get away with a proper night off..... I just got up for a drink and had to sort the bottles out I asked him to do at 11:30pm, or CJ wouldn't have anything for his next feed, bloody typical!!!
Little man apparently is very unsettled and has only slept laid in Tris's arms.... They both fell asleep on the sofa!!! He just had a feed and keeps crying, I'm laid in bed and can hear him, defo not himself my poor baby!!!
Gonna try and get back to sleep, hope you are all ok xx

Aah sorry to hear you're not getting to enjoy your time off :( I always struggle to relax if i can hear crying even now with lily, though i am getting better at it! When she was a baby though i definitely couldn't switch off if i was in the same house as her. It doesn't help that you're having to sort out bottles as well, eh?! Hope you all get some sleep soon x

On third and hopefully final feed of the night here....

Why has it only just occured to me to try Harry with Dr Brown's bottles? He takes in so much air and is really sqeaky during every feed. A trip to Boots after the Docs methinks!

Hope everyone has had a decent night x

Just been googling and defo going to get a couple to try. Babies at nursery years ago used them and i didn't even think about a change of bottle as well as his milk! We use Nuby bottles at the moment and i'm glad i got the on 3 for 2 lol. Harry is supposed to be our 'cheap' baby because we have everything from Jack, what with his tiny birth size & feeding/colic issues he's cost us a fortune! lol x

I have bought db bottles db steriliser ygrn full set of size 2 teats and shes just started needing size 3 we have to add gaviscon n it seems to bulk the feed up lol. Also bought tons of dentinox and infacol n now shes on colief on prescription lol!!

Ella Faith 8/2/13 8lb 13.5 oz x

Omfg..... I was woken by CJ screaming downstairs, went down cos thought tris had fallen asleep, only to find CJ lying on the laminate floor, tris had gone to sleep, laid on the sofa with him in his arms, and had dropped him, I'm fuming, last time I trust him with the little man! He seems ok, but I'm really worried about him :-( xx

Sassy that must have been horrible. Will you get him checked out? Im sure he's fine though. Didn't his screaming wake Tris? Big hugs!!

Claire I used db bottles when I was combi feeding and never really had any problems. I think I saw a deal in boots last week.

It's a lovely sunny day in London! My mum's picking us up in half an hour and then were going for a walk in Regents Park and then going to London Zoo...unless they charge for babies then they can get lost!

We are going out to buy an electric pump today - my manual one is crap And takes forever!

Lol hl28 I can imagine that's a tough gap!!! I look after my 3 year old nephew everyday and that's tough enough lol! Used to worry me when I was pregnant how rough he is, bet its hard having them so close! But they'll be super close growing up ! X

Babybee that sounds like such a fun day! Sooo jealous wish I lived in London!

Sassy can't believe that happened! Hope cj seems ok? I think I'd prob get him checked too x

Well I'm off for a walk today to my mums, but after the hv has come. Anybody else's hv still come out at 8 weeks??? Dunno why she's still here I thought they only came in the early days! Oh well, least I can get her weighed and mention my concerns with the reflux etc... Hope she's put on weight, I'm aiming for 10lb5 this week! She eats loads (yesterday she had 830ml by 8pm!) but she's sooo small an dainty! Always been like this since birth, when my mum saw her she thought she was about 6lb instead of 8lb4 x

I love having the health visitor come out - reassures me and I actually have a nice one!! She's coming to us again when jas is 6 weeks x

Hope he's ok Sassy! I dropped Cesca when she was about 7 weeks old and she was fine if that's any reassurance :/ The handle of her moses basket snapped when I was moving her... It's so awful though.

Need to get up to head into town for a hair cut before Cesca gets back but lacking motivation...xx

Mummy to Francesca (born at 13:27 on 10/08/11 weighing 7lbs 6oz, 5 days early) and Benjamin (born at 23:08 on 08/03/13 weighing 8lbs 15oz, 1 day late).

Tapatalking!

The health visitor carries on seeing you until they're 5! Just the visits are less often as they get bigger. Up until a year they're pretty regular then so long as everything's ok the next check isn't until 2 1/2 (around here anyway).

There's 19 months between my 2 and it's a lovely age gap :) Cesca's so good with Ben and Ben tolerates her poking and prodding ha ha xx

There's 21 months between Jack & Harry. When Harry's having a good day they're great fun! Jack loves his Brother and comes and gently taps his head a lot ... usually when he's sleeping! lol x

My HV said she didn't need to see us anymore??? I though that was strange. I'm taking her to be weighed tomorrow I guess I can ask someone then?

Thanks for reassurance guys! I thought she was worried about us lol, good to know I'm not the only one! Also got this development worker coming next week to do these activities with us.., should be interesting! I have lots of experience with school aged children and developing special educational needs but none with babies so it'll be interesting to see what they do with skyler! I'm quite happy with how she's developing though and not getting hung up on anything; things happen at their own time x

Sassy x I want to slap numnuts at the best of time but poison in his tea springs to mind this morning! !
Praying lil cj ok bless him xx

Our hv is visiting once a week until 8wks old xx then off to clinic to see them x

We had a good night went down at 10-1, 1.30-4.20, 5-7.50 xx such a clever boy xx
The ebm, double meds (colief&infacol) and snowsuit to sleep in is making it much easier xx
