********February 2019 mummies*********

Just realised I miscalculated my date when I had my scan, so on Tuesday I was measuring 6 plus 4 - in my head I thought that's 3 days less than I thought (which was because I kept thinking 7 weeks) but I actually thought I was 7 weeks on Monday - which is 4 days less than I though - so based on that I'd be due on the 15th not the 14th. I'm going to wait and see what my dating scan says before changing my signature again though haha.

Marie!! Congratulations!!! I am pregnant after a loss too, it is scary but hopeful too, how far along at you?

Welcome Natalie!!

Donna I always try to tell myself the latest due date that’s possible so I don’t go too insane when I inevitably go waaaay overdue haha

I'll do that after my dating scan but don't really take any due dates seriously at the moment - things can change depending on so much

Good luck for the next scan Mystery! How are you feeling after the scan today?

Honestly not hopeful, I’ve had no pregnancy symptoms really so if it stopped growing 2 weeks ago then it all makes sense as to why I just don’t feel pregnant

I’m sorry Mystery, it’s an awful feeling. When do you think you ovulated? When did you get your bfp?

Hey Mystery I looked back at the June testing thread and doing the math it would make sense if you got those initial lines at 9-10 DPO, that would make your dates just right for what the ultrasound saw and it would explain your lack of symptoms because it's still so early. Were your cycles irregular? Are you still breastfeeding?

Exactly!! If it was me dealing with any mum (meaning first time or second, third, etc) ...I would have a super positive outlook on it, and not say the negative things they do. Unless they are trained too? Im fully aware things can "go wrong" in early pregnancy, im not stupid, so why do they act like I am :(

Yeah I have a really open mind on it all, I think if its not meant to be then thats my path that was chosen for me and my man, but everything is crossed for a successful pregnancy!

Ah do you? Did they measure it for you? How have you been Donna?

Aw dont feel that way just yet! I have only just started getting real symptoms as of early this week. I have started with morning sickness (which for me last from the min I wake up until around 4pm), and my boobs feel so sore and are very veiny!

I am still bf could that have thrown ovulation off?

I've been fine thank you bubbles, nausea getting slightly worse but not been sick as of yet. Boobs are huge (someone from work even commented asking what bra's I wear) but can't complain too much.

Mystery, breastfeeding has a huge influence on ovulation. In fact they don’t even trust my dates because I’m still nursing my toddler!

Haha yup that's me too. It's crazy isn't it.
I've had a couple of days where my nipples have been sensitive too but that doesn't seem to be a constant thing. I remember I had that when I was pregnant with my son and it was a lot more obvious but that was in winter so I wonder if the cold made them worse and I only notice if I knock them now

Hey girls
I have my booking in appointment with midwife on Tuesday. I will be 9 weeks. I weighed myself this morning and I have put on weight as I have been eating like crazy to try and stop the nausea and I used to be so active and I've become so lazy the last 6 weeks. Anyway I'm now showing as my bmi being in the overweight zone... Not really sure what to expect as I have always been thin at the start of my other 3 pregnancies and now that I've googled a few things I'm worried I'm going to encounter issues as a result of this weight gain. I'm determined to look after myself and eat healthy and exercise when this sickness/nausea passes.

Hope everyone is doing well. Normally I would be loving this glorious weather we have been having but instead I'm stuck in with an air con unit blasting on me!

Xx

Donna and Bubbles, my right nipple is killing me but my left one is ok! Haha so weird.

Lynsey I have gone from working out 4-5 times a week to maybe going to my barre class once a week. It doesn’t feel good. I hope to pick up the pace again in the next few weeks.

I’m 9 weeks tomorrow and have had pretty much no nausea the last couple days. I am mildly worried but also I know the placenta can start to take over around this time so that might be it. Also I can feel my fundus an inch or 2 above my public bone so at least I know hints are growing!
