Seems bizarre doesn't it, I thought it'd be soooo much easier now he's getting bigger. Not the case tho hey, sorry other ppl are struggling too but glad it's not just me.

Sounds like a good idea - maybe baby was in a funny position. I thought it would be easier to find now baby is bigger but obviously not the case. How was the baby & toddler event?? Glad you got free tickets!

It was a bit of a let down I'll be honest, I hate to feel pressured and as the stalls were so small if you went up to them you got the sales pitch at everyone!! Oh and OBEM casting crew were there looking for Liverpool mums! Got me and hubby on the subject and he said he'd do it!! Not his buts on display is it!! And he said he thought he'd be quite funny on it!! Lol what a fool!!

I did find a couple of good things one of which we said we'd get on the Internet when home and now we can't find it at a decent price :/

We did get a poddlepod which looks really good, a cuddledry robe which also looks fab, looooooadsa freebies and some proper cute shoes for him...



We did have a wonder over to Trafford centre after and if nothing else I had such a lovely day with hubby! A bit of quality time which was exactly what we needed.... And a fab TGI Friday lunch!! Mmmmmmmm

Ooh those poddle pods are supposed to be good...was it a bargain MrsT?! Glad you had a good day anyway, I know what you mean about feeling pressured. You feel rude saying no but obviously need to think about it! Ps those shoes are adorable!

Cost us £35 with two covers for it... You can buy them all cotton but we got one side cotton one side fleece with him starting out in winter! A couple of times we walked away and then went back, felt less pressured that way. Was really good for testing Prams aswell!! Was loads!!

I can't believe its 20 week scan time already! I have mine a week tomorrow and really can't wait.
My midwife used the doppler on me at my 16 week appointment, it turns out I've been listening to my own heartbeat through the placenta the whole time and not the babies! She struggled to find it too, baby kept moving!

That's disappointing then, the wedding fayre was great! Pressuring us vunerable women, tut!!

Ohhh, is the next series in Liverpool? I don't think I could do OBEM, maybe with a second child so I know what to expect but being a first is a no go..!!! Don't fancy the WHOLE nation seeing me at my very worst!!!!! My otherhalf keeps telling me he is recording it all anyway, errrrm don't think soooo!!!!!!!

Yeh it is. I just couldn't!! I've been on TV once and it was mortifying.... I lost 35k!! But just seeing and hearing myself was even worse, and that was when I thought I'd made the effort to look half decent, can you imagine waters break in the middle of the night, turn up looking like Id been dragged through a hedge backwards, not a scrap of makeup and then the close up of baby coming out.... Nah uhhh!! Not for me lol

Yeah, went earlier in the year - i'm not even engaged but have to drop afew hints one way or another!! Bit awkward when they say 'So when's the big day!!??'... Ahem, ANYWAY!!

Were you really, that's brave - I hate my phone voice so I can imagine it sounding even worse on the tely. NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How one earth did you do that, what programme was it!? You poor thing!!

Do people really get paid to go on it!? I didn't know that! I think i'd want more than million to have my bum on the tv - i feel sorry for the viewers more than anything lol!!!!!!!!! Yeah, defo not one for the middle of night labours. Hopefully I'll end up gong into labour around middayish when I'm dressed and look half decent - won't be the way though ha!

I'm feeling daily movement now. Mainly at night but also add bits during the daytime! It's amazing and strange!
Hubby could feel it last night through my tummy so that's was a special moment.

Salina it's so lovely and reassuring feeling regular movement isn't it.
So our scan went well! All measurements ok and everything else all good. Baby pretty much on 50th centile, yay. And definitely team pink, can I be updated please?! Dd was an angel and actually looked like she enjoyed watching her little sister on the screen!

Haha that's funny!!!! I felt bad going and when they asked I was like 18 months away... We were a bit too prepared wayyyy too early, but that is funny about not being engaged yet... Does OH go with you?

Oh I was one of the programmes on when the lottery is, in it to win it with dale winton... Don't know if you've heard of it?

Yeh I think it's maybe a grand or so?! Yeh every day leading up to due date I plan to have a shower and do my hair and makeup...... Delusions of grandeur im sure haha !!

My scan went well! Everything is looking nice and normal which is good, she couldn't get a decent look at a face profile so I get another scan in 2 weeks This baby has never liked being scanned from the side lol

Well....had 20 week scan today. All looked well with baby but he/ she had their legs firmly crossed so looks like we will be remaining team yellow. Hubby wasn't too fussed but I was really upset at the time as I had so been looking forward to finding out but I know the main thing is that all looked well and we have (as far as we know) a beautiful, healthy baby.

We have made some progress with shopping today and went out straight after the scan and bought a pram. First big thing ticked off the list

Hope everyone else's scan went well x
